Training course on HIV/AIDS counselling and lay testing skills for CBOs in Nghe An

In order to achieve the 90-90-90 targets and increase lay population’ access of people with high-risk behaviors groups to HIV testing services in Nghe An province, the Center for Community Health Research and Development (CCRD) organized a training course on HIV/AIDS counselling and lay testing skills for CBOs in the province from the 18th to the 21st of August 2017. This training was part of the lectures “USAID Enhanced HIV Link- Northern” project with participation from experienced experts in HIV/AIDS prevention.

The participants were carefully trained in pre and post-test counseling skills for groups of people with high-risk behaviors, reading and explaining test results, as well as referring customers to health facilities.

By the end of the course, all participants were qualified in counseling and proficient at HIV lay testing. The course completion certificate was awarded by the CCRD and PAC Nghe An.
