Strengthening Capacity in Strategic Leadership and Communication Workshop

 

 

 

In the cooperation framework between the Center for Community Health Research and Development (CCRD) and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Communication Programs (CCP), US, CCRD has organized the "Strengthening Capacity in Strategic Leadership and Communication" training workshop from 7-11 April 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In continuation of four successful training workshops on "Leadership in Strategic Health Communication", which was held consecutively from 2008 to 2011, this year’s advanced workshop was designed to strengthen and enhance the trained knowledge and skills with focus on capacity building in leadership and program management.
Workshop facilitator, Dr. Benjamin V. Lozare, CCP’s Director of training and capacity building, has provided state-of-the-art-knowledge and skills in the field of Social and Behavior Change Communication in the digital era, especially emerging challenges for leaders and managers of development programs.

Participants of this training workshop are strategic partners of CCRD from Government agencies such as Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC), the Department of Communication and Reward – Ministry of Health, National Institute of Nutrition, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam National Television, non-governmental organizations such as the Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP), and international organizations such as USAID, Care International.
