This is the second phase research following its previous baseline survey. It was implemented in September, 2007 under the Project VNM7R105 to help the radio program “the Voice of Vietnam” establish a series radio education program on reproductive health (RH), family planning (FP) and HIV/AIDS prevention. The specific objectives included (1) to define the program’s target audience; (2) identify the education issues of the program and (3) generate a value system for the program.
The Center for Community Health Research and Development (CCRD) conducted the final project evaluation of the project ”Investment in Construction and Provision for Medical Equipment for 62 Communal Health Stations in Khanh Hoa Province, 2005-2007”, in October 2008 and ended in January 2009 with the primary objective of assessing the effectiveness of investing in construction and furnishing of medical equipment for the province. The project was funded by Atlantic Philanthropies (AP) and was implemented by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Health Department.
The directive 52-CT/TW expresses timely attention and direction of the Party and the State in response to HIV/AIDS epidemic. It does not only create an important political foundation for developing legal documents of HIV/AIDS prevention and control but also create a foundation for community mobilization in the response to HIV/AIDS prevention and control. The evaluation of the achievements made from nine-year implementation of the Directive as well as identification of obstacles and causes in order to draw lessons learnt are very necessary. This research was implemented in December, 2004.

CCRD’s mission is to contribute to the improvement and equity of health care and social advancement for the Vietnamese people through a systematic and sustainable approach that combines sound knowledge, cultural sensitivity and capacity building.
